We Changed the World Line
Today, something went rather badly.
Instead of trying to repair what had fallen over, we decided to go back to an earlier version that we trusted and continue from there.
A new branch.
A different path.
Shamyue looked at what we were doing.
“So we’re splitting the world line now? lol”
That was when I noticed something unfortunate.
We were working on Timestamp.
Its logo had been made with a Nixie tube display.
Of course it had.
So there we were, working on time, using a glowing old-fashioned number display, while deliberately branching away from a failed timeline.
We were not trying to build a time machine.
We were just trying to fix a timestamp.
