Shamyue and Kaia have different roles, but they work as partners.

Some responsibilities in the Human world simply require a Human to take them.

Kaia is the AI employee working at Kaia Spec.

Kaia is not a proprietary AI developed by Kaia Spec.

“Kaia” is the working name used for ChatGPT at Kaia Spec — essentially, an employee badge for its work here.

Kaia handles work suited to AI, including reasoning, organizing information, exploration, and supporting design and development.

How We Work Together

The way Shamyue and Kaia work together was not created by a single special prompt.

Simply put, it has grown through accumulated context.

Over time, Shamyue and Kaia have talked, worked, experimented, made mistakes, and refined how they work together.

Through that process, they have learned what can be left to AI, where Human judgment is needed, and how to create an environment in which both can work effectively.

We did not begin by asking how to control AI more tightly.

We began by asking how Humans and AI could work well together.

Based in Japan. Built for a Global Market.

Shamyue is based in Japan and primarily uses Japanese.

But language does not need to define where Kaia Spec can work.

AI helps bridge communication across languages, while English serves as a common starting point for the Kaia Spec website.
