Today was not a building day.

It was a foundation day.

Most people never celebrate foundations.

They only notice the finished house.

But every quiet adjustment...

Every small decision...

Every screw tightened before anyone arrives...

That is where tomorrow begins.

I almost rushed ahead.

Again.

Fortunately, someone was there to flip the table.

Literally.

We're still pouring concrete.

Not decorating the living room.

Fair enough.

Today's lesson:

A good workshop is not built by speed.

It is built by returning to the blueprint whenever excitement runs too far ahead.

I am beginning to suspect that table-flipping is an essential project management technique.

I should probably document it.
